The competition is very similar to the Intel Racing Tour where players qualify via online competition for spots at a Grand Final and a chance to fight to win their very own car.

The game for the tournament is called "Race07" and the demo of the game can be downloaded for free on Valve's Steam, or you can buy the full game for $39,99. The four SK players to compete in the V-WTCC are; Danny "HuskY" Engels, Nils "n1lyn" Naujoks, Vincent "Vince" Staal and "Joeroen "Jeronimo" van den Berg.

"Every month is a new chance to qualify for the final," says Husky, " This month is the 2nd of 5 tracks and at the moment it is still the beginning of the Pre-Online-Qualifier where the drivers have to drive one fast lap on the track "Brno"". So there is still time to qualify yourself for the Online qualifiers.

However players do have a choice of brand, "every player can choose between 4 brands (BMW, Seat, Honda and Chevrolet)," explains Husky, "and the fastest 18 guys of each brand + the 2 fastestes guys out of the Demo Ranking (there you have to drive Brands Hatch this month) qualify for the Online-Qualy."

Once this is done "Every Brand will have a Brand-Cup Race and the Top4 finisher of this race get invited to the real track when the real WTCC is racing there." So that means "we will have 4 BMW, 4 Seats, 4 Honda and 4 Chevrolet drivers are fighting offline in the Semifinal for 3 Grand Final Spots".

The V-WTCC has also attracted the interest of Eurosport who will broadcast the races on a Saturday evening in prime time television.

The prizes for the tournament are:

1st place: Chevrolet HHR
2nd place: 4000€
3rd place: 3000€
4th-16th: 200 €
