Mousesports today released a very interesting interview with two of their top DotA performers Drayich and Miracle.

In the first part of the interview the two experienced players talk about the development of competitive DotA and their personal careers. Furthermore, they share their personal opinions about the Electronic Sports World Cup and the fight for acceptance in the esports scene.

"The greatest tournaments and leagues are hosted by private sites like dota-league.com and mymym.com. Do you think DotA does miss some acceptance in the overall esport business?

Miracle: Yes, people think DotA is easy and I don't think that the admins of the bigger e-sport sites really understand how complex DotA is as a game.

Drayich: I think dota still is fighting for its "right" to be called a e-sports, eventhough it seems like we are winning this fight in the longrun we are still in need of more and bigger events. Eventhough we got Asus and Dreamhack, and now also ESWC I think we are still a bit behind. The prize money for Dreamhack this year was 35000SEK in total while CS for example had over 100.000SEK"
