DotA: DotA Allstars 6.54 released

IceFrog today released the new DotA version 6.54. The new map contains several balance changes and fixes. Furthermore, heroes like Invoker and Shadowpriest got reworked a bit.

Some of the most significant changes are the hero reworks and of course the balance changes. These include a movement speed decrease on Dragon Knight's level two and three Elder Dragon Form and various nerfs on the newly implemented Goblin Clockwerk.

Another aim of this version is to encourage the use of 'forgotten' heroes, such as Abaddon and Phantom Lancer, with a rebalanced Aphotic Shield and Borrowed Time as well as a reworked Spirit Lance.

In addition to that there are a lot of bug fixes and visual improvements to the previous version.

I've tried out the dazzle "shadow grave" but what does it do actually ? :/. Nothing happens really :X; the reworked ulti is pretty cool.

You cant die, means you'll still lose HP but you cant go below 1 Hp for those few seconds

Not really, the only way to make them "harder" is to boost their XP and gold income - and otherwise they often play really crappy. There's a few good AI maps tho, but often they aren't that challenging in the long run.

However, it's a great way to start play, and maybe to test some new builds.

In most AI versions, they automaticly get more gold than normal if you put in Computer Hard/Insane instead of Easy in the lobbyscreen. In others, there's certain commandos you can enter when you start, as an example you may have to write -ap** (

This turns dazzle into a really important hero.Before Dzzle could only target 1 hero for amor but now it can really turn the tide of the battle if casted correctly.The shallow grave ability could really save ur tanks in emergency - imagine sniper ults....and nothing :)

Dazzle isn't imba, his second spell is now a pure clutch spell, i kinda like that but at the same time dazzled feature as the ultimate support hero for the ultimate carry hero is now subdued, his ultimate is a bit whacky but i havn't played with it enough to criticize nor thumb it up, overall though i can say Dazzle has been nerfed as a hero, i definitely love the new visuals such as Crystal Maidens ultimate though is very Christmasy :D Lycan is still a little bit rough around the edges in terms of balance but i have definitely witnessed a small lapse in his early game jungle farming, overall some good changes this version.

Didn't have enough room to edit but when i say Dazzle has been nerfed as a hero i mean that he will no longer be used as frequently as he is in the current version competitions.
