Six-time EPS champion Daniel 'miou' Holthuis will take on the defending champion Daniel 'XlorD' Spenst in his first appearance in the new EPS season.

It is the first encounter between the two since March 5, where XlorD made a comeback after losing 0-1 last season. Though both players featured in the EPS finals in Cologne, the results were poles apart. While the SK Gaming player lost two straight matches versus Tim 'HLA' Gebel and Alexander 'iNSoLeNCE' Hein, the ALTERNATE player claimed gold in his debut season with a undefeated run.

Aside from that, the stats are also stacking against miou. Among all four matchups, Human versus Undead is the worst one for miou as he has only won 5 games out of 21. The 22-year-old opted for Orc when he faced Undead players from time to time, but it doesn’t appear to be a better solution for him. On the other hand, XlorD has as much as twice win ratio than miou in this matchup, a mere 57%.

Will miou make a return after recent slump, or will the soon 17-year-old champion continue his magnificent run since last season? Have your say below. Other than live streams like GGTV, Waaagh!TV, you can also follow the games via XlorD vs. miou match item.
