Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating World of Warcraft's fourth year on the market by giving all of the games subscribers a "...marauding, godless killing machine."

November 23rd 2004 is a bittersweet date for some, with the launch of World of Warcraft signifying the day their lives split into two. By day they're accountants, housewives and gas station employees. By night they're accountants, housewives and gas station employees with World of Warcraft accounts.

In celebration of the four years World of Warcraft has spent conquering the planet and enslaving over eleven million people, Blizzard has a very special gift for all of you – a polar bear! A baby polar bear to be precise.

All you have to do is log in sometime today and it's yours.

What you do with this adorable polar bear is your business though, unless you're a dwarf I wouldn't suggest riding it, you might kill it. As for prompting it to attack, short of a nasty scuff on your enemy's shoe, I'm not quite sure how useful it's going to be.

Remember, a polar bear is for life, not just for Christmas. Your polar bear doesn't stay that size forever. One day your bear may even try claw your face off, so take your responsibility seriously.
