SK|Husky gets gold and a Dodge Viper GTS-R
Danny "Husky" Engels took gold this weekend after a three-way tie forced the organisers to review the races in the Shell V-Power95 Cup Grand Final. One of his prizes is a Ring-Taxi Lap in a V10 Dodge Viper GTS-R.

Danny "Husky" Engels took gold this weekend after a three-way tie forced the organisers to review the races in the Shell V-Power95 Cup Grand Final. One of his prizes is a Ring-Taxi Lap in a V10 Dodge Viper GTS-R.
Despite the final taking place on Sunday the winner has only just been decided. Danny 'HuskY' Engels and Marcel 'SandMan' Krause of SK Gaming along with Florian “F. Becker” Becker all finished the races with 24 points which meant the three were tied for gold, silver and bronze forcing the organisers to step in.
Danny 'HuskY' Engels was crowned the winner because of 1st place in Heat 1 and 5th place in Heat 2 as well as 2nd place in qualifying. Florian “F. Becker” Becker comes second because he had the same results as Husky aside from the fact he finished only 8th in the qualifying round.
Meanwhile Marcel 'SandMan' Krause is third due to finishing 3rd in the Heat 1 and 2nd in the Heat 2. Also worth a mention is 9th place for SK Gaming racer Christoph 'DreaF' Hörenbaum.
Due to The Shell V-Power Cup being played on GTR Evolution with Mini-Cooper the car for all players, it is a race of precision not speed. Race 1 saw SK|HuskY` calm and composed as he controlled the heat sitting comfortably at 1st position but was only leading by less than one second over the entire race.
The second race was a different story as Husky along with Christoph 'DreaF' Hörenbaum got crashed going into the first turn. Despite the horrific start that put Husky to second from last position at the beginning of the race, team-mate SK|SandMan shone through with a almost perfect performance finishing the second heat in second place behind Florian “F. Becker” Becker.
Husky ended the race at 6th place after an impressive comeback but due to the crashes in the first turn the incident was reviewed and penalty points given to the guilty drivers. This meant Husky was bumped from 6th up to 5th place to level him in the scores with Florian “F. Becker” Becker who eventually got silver.
